They increase your business presence to a much larger community of consumers and therefore can actually increase your business revenue. There are millions of ways to utilize the power of your website to improve your business in all areas.

A silly website is a good website

When developing your website, think "silly". You remember that funny commercial you saw on TV, right?

See if you can make your website visitors laugh on your website. Taseful humor, appropriate to your audience, will endear you to your users...especially if you can make it interactive, which TV cannot do.

Here's a couple of ideas:

- Create an online chat with you, where your Avatar is (really) silly looking.

- Setup an interactive guessing game that is related to your business, where the answers are funny, but true.

- Make your buttons or icons do something unexpected when clicked.

Websites that are interactive and fun are far more successful than simple "about us" websites. Just don't over-do it.

Good (clean) humor should ultimately get your user to do what you want them to do on your website...do business with you!
